Program Overview

Do you have a need for adventure, excitement, exhilaration, enabling you to reach your potential?

Given the nature of Out Doors’ work in the outdoor settings, Out Doors places a strong emphasis on risk management and harm minimisation where participants and staff are our main concern. As a result, the organisation complies with the relevant OH&S legislations and our quality standards are based on the principles contained in the Australian Health Minister’s Mental Health statement of rights and responsibilities as well as the United Nations Principles on the protection of people with a mental illness.

These standards address universal issues and focuses on upholding the rights, safety, dignity, privacy and confidentiality of people with psychiatric disabilities.
