We returned to the heartwarming haven of Edgars Mission and were welcomed back by the ever-charming Silvester the cat. Silvester just turned up at Edgars one day, investigated the place, stayed for a while then just disappeared. Then one day he returned this time with his family in tow has stayed ever since. Classic cat move, right?![]()

Then there was Tim Tam the goat, zooming down the driveway in his mobility cart, making leaf-picking a tasty task for us all. Our guide Daniel led us through a world of happy hens, friendly donkeys, and fields of rescued farm animals, ending with a playful update on the goat family we met as babies – now curious ‘teenagers’!![]()
