As of tomorrow (Wednesday 8/7) at midnight, the Victorian Government has announced new stage 3 restrictions for Metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire that will affect non-essential businesses including pubs, clubs, nightclubs, Crown Casino, gyms, indoor sporting venues, places of worship, cinemas and entertainment venues.
Our hearts go out to everyone who has and is being affected by COVID-19, directly or indirectly, and we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery as soon as possible.
The Victorian Government advises if you live in one of these areas of Melbourne, there will only be four reasons to leave home:
• Shopping for food and supplies
• Medical care and caregiving
• Exercise and recreation
• Study and work – if you can’t do it from home
What does this mean for Out Doors Inc?
As an essential service, we’ve temporarily suspended all outdoor programs from today, Tuesday the 7th of July until September 2020 as per the Government’s instructions, at which time we’ll reassess the situation and act appropriately.
In the meantime, the staff at Out Doors Inc will continue to support participants via a number of different means, read on below.
